99z jus dyno'd The car put down 297hp 311tq basically stock, had just and slp lid, no filter or anything else. Problem here was that the a/f was at 14.0 to 14.5 throughout the whole pull and up top there was some major detonation, i want to say from about 5k to redline. Any ideas on what to do to get rid of this? Car runs premium fuel and jus had new plugs and wires put in, also has 85k on it. Thanks
a good tune will run you about 400-500 dollars.or you could buy LS1 edit or HPTuners and do it yourself and spend about as much on the software.check the sponsor list-----------------> to find somebody near you.
personally,i would go for no leaner than 12.8 or 12.9 to 1 AFR on the street,just to be safe.i've had the misfortune to get some crappy gas on occasion,so i like to be a little conservetive.Predator has the advantage of 98+ octane oversees

Verdad Gallardo wouldnt this also indicate some sort of problem? The A/F line doesnt even drop from 14.7 under WOT, Im wondering if its not going into open loop where it runs on the set table for WOT conditions.....? Is this possible?

Thats wat i was thinkn, I have an auto tap so ill try to see what the o2 sensors are doing and wat mode it is in under wot. Im just afraid to floor it now though, im afraid that pinging is really going to damage somthing.
