MAFT bypass cap mod

MAFT's are outdated by todays standards. Before PCM tuning was avaiable this was one of the few but far from correct ways to compensate for major mods. If you need tuning i'd look into software like HPTuners or EFI live that allow you to adjust many settings in your pcm.

SmokingWS6, I get it, but I'm a cheap SOB and for right now the MAFT is what I have. I'll be moving to tuning software eventually.
I did the modification because I had a lean hole at 4500 - 5000 rpm.
It helps but not completely. That's why I bought LS1Edit.
EDIT: the tantalium was OK, I only increased the capacity of the electrolytical one. Bigger capacitors won't have place on the bottom of the circuit, just solder them on the other side.
