hey does anyone know if u can get the lm1 and hook it up to any car and get the afr?

I have a lm1 it comes as complete stand alone kit does not interface with the "car"unless you want it to....you could test the A/F of your lawnmower if you like!

so u just can hook it up and get the afr then right. and also do you have to convert something in hptuners to get it to work with it so u can read it in the hptuners scanner

if you have it hooked to hptuners and your hooking to say a honda i dont believe you can view the readings through hptuners...you'd be better off using the lm1's supplied software.

the basic kit is ok to view all that stuff right on other cars

yah...because its not connected in any way to the car...your just plugging it into a bung in the exhaust & reading what it says.

makes since have a question when tuning with hptuners and your tuning a car that just put on header you adjust the ve tables am i correct?

there are 100 ways to tune...for headers I'd do some ve & pe tuning though...if no cats I'd also delete cot
