how much power am i giving up?
just wandering how much power i'm down with my mail-order tune from TSP, compared to a dyno tune? i know i'm giving up some power, just trying to justify spending $500 for a dyno tune. when i do get it tuned, i'm taking the car to Rapid Motorsports. i was going to get Mikey to tune it when i did the cam install but run short on funds, so i did the mail-order to save a little $

could be 100 hp could be dead on... hard to tell unless you get it on a dyno and see what your AFR is and your HP numbers... along w/what your current timing is

I've heard TSP does a good job on those tunes being that it's their cam and all. FWIW I bought a PCMforless mail order tune after my cam install and then went to the dyno to find I was hitting over 14:1-14.5:1 AFR across the entire rpm range Got a free update after sending in the dyno/AFR graph and supposedly got it fattened up. 6 months later and I just bought HPTuners.

TSP was pretty close on my buddy's tune. He runs a 408 with one of their bigger cams like 244/255 .620 or so. First did a mail order tune to get it running then took it to TSP for a dyno tune. the mail oder made ~440 or so and they got another 10 rwhp out of it on the dyno.
