How do you tune for boost-referenced fuel pumps?
How do you tune for boost-referenced fuel pumps? I'm not sure how they work, or what's the idea behind them, so if anyone cares to enlight me, that'd be great.
I'm assuming there's tricks to the IFR table, as it's pressure based, right?

Like the KB boost-a-pump when using the boost switch option?
You need to know what the new fuel pressure is when the KB is active.
(this can vary depending on where you have the dial turned on the KB control unit)
Then do the new fuel rate calculation based on the new fuel pressure.
Then figure out where in the IFR table the boost switch is going to kick on.
If it's not a KB type unit that kicks up voltage to the pump, and it's a stock-type fpr that's boost referenced at the rail, then yeah a flat IFR table works (up to a point anyway).
