Which wideband for HPTuners ?
Hi everyone,
What is everyone using for a wideband to interface with HPTuners ? Which one is preferred and why ? Some details would be nice (accuracy, ease of install, failures, etc) ? I've heard the Dynojet one is good.
Is there a writeup somewhere on how to connect the sensor wiring to the pigtail ? (Couldn't find one with search).
Thanks !

Hey Rob! I have used the LM-1 and now use the DynoJet. The LM-1 is easier to "install" and transfer from one vehicle to another. I was using a barrowed LM-1 from a friend, but I decided to purchase the DynoJet as per Ken's recommendation. I don't know if the barrowed LM-1 had a bad sensor or what, but my DynoJet is more accurate than the LM-1, plus it came with an extrenal gauge so I could easily monitor AFR as I drive/race. The LM-1 unit is a good piece don't get me wrong, I am just a very happy customer with the DynoJet.

It was reading a couple points different then Ken's and the Dyno Pack's wideband readings. Something like .5 AFR. Ken's DynoJet wideband and the Dyna Pack wideband were very close to each other. This was done on the same day within minutes of each other ... as I said, it could have been the sensor itself was bad. I don't know, it looked good to me.

the LM1 and LC1 are no doubt the best "bang for the buck"
I use an LM-1 and love it... I just hooked it up temporarily to a buddies car a week ago to tune his car....
the LC-1 is great if it's not going to be used in multiple vehicles... LM-1 is great for multi-vehicle

the LC1 is no problem for multi vehicle...
I almost always tune in open loop with LTFT's disabled(since I am using a wideband)
and I just pull out one of the front O2's and put it in its place....
being in open loop it doesnt care if one of the o2's isnt hooked up
I made a little box and attatched power and ground.. run grond over to the fuse box in the door panel...run ground to the seat floor bolt....start tuning
just be sure to hit one of the 25 amp spots near the lower right corner....
