Actually, it is the USB cable option. The USB cable is needed for LS2 (CAN) vehicles ... or if you hate having the USB to Serial adapter and want a cleaner looking setup.

 

Yay I can tune Fords now. lol.

Edit: or not, i'm not spending 500 again just for a new converter box.

 

I'll bet in a couple months they will have an upgrade option.

hmm..this may just very well serve useful. my friend has an 05 gt so id be able to start tuning his too...not bad. Guess i dont need a hardware upgrade till later on.

 

hey guys i actually ordered hp tuners yesterday (10-17-05).. will i get the new stuff? and how long does it usually take to get the software delivered?

From what I though, or was led to believe for that matter, I thought the Ford tuning capability would be just a standard add along as any other car. Like I buy hpt, I choose my car, then I choose my buddies Cobra. Not sure if anything else is needed in that sense...
