Dammit, I hate you all and your non-expired software update periods!

I finally had time to look it over. So far so good. I noticed a few table changes here and there. Mainly I like the improvements to the scanning software, even though I found a bug in in it, Its nothing much, if you turn the high fan on, then click it off it still stays on. Other than that its great.

I'm just getting my feet wet in 2.0 and I love it. Makes things much easier. Wish there was a jump to frame feature in the scanner, so you could go right to the frame you marked.

No software has a Easy button....

Let me get this straight, you can afford to buy a set of $1,300+ heads that will need to be tuned once their on your car but you can't swing $99 for the software? I hope your not one of those guys that expect to get good gas mileage from these cars once their modded...

I've been tuning cars for a few years now and I am still learning new things. There is a hugh learning curve with this stuff. Why not get the new version now that way you'll have a good handle on it before you add anymore mods to your car.

Buy yourself an early X-mas present, buy HP Tuner Ver 2.0 software.....

the fans have worked for me without any problems. the only thing i had that was a problem was the fan airflows were not added to the idle air when you turn them on manually

So sir, I can't afford no steenkin' $1300+ for heads.... I can however afford to buy a set of $200 takeoff 241's, and work them over a little myself (daddy has an aircraft machine shop with tools I can play with. Anyone got a CNC program?). Im extremely DIY oriented. Its the only way I can stretch my budget. And for what it's worth, with 4.10s and an f-13 cam, I still get 28 MPG highway

Good idea about the x-mas present. I think Ill put it on my wish list

Yes, you could do it that way. You will need the stand alone install file linked here:

Well, last night I had a chance to check out a buddy's copy of v2.0. I must say that I am actually rather impressed. Very convenient improvements all around. I loved the smoothing between bands. I also loved the histogram count on the scanner. You can finally tell what cells have valid data after logging. Definately found some key features in it.
