Default handheld or Full tuning suite for ...

I'm going to install a tr227/224 .569/.563 114 LSA and headers with catted y pipe in my 01 ss, would a handheld tuner such as the Diablo be good enough for the tune or should I really go with HP tuner or similar?

thank you

Don't wate your time with the Diablo Predator. A friend of mine has one and ended up going in with me for HP Tuners. The full tuning suites are much more powerful and allows you to tune any aspect. The Diablo Predator relies on basic tuning adjustments and you would need them to derive a custom tune for the TR227 cam. So, do it yourself with the full tuning suites like HPT or EFILive.

EFILive will have a hand held module (Flashscan V2) to compliment their tuning suite in the near future.

Check out:

http://www.hptuners.com/products.html

There are a lot of screenshots of the software.. You can see exactly what you would be getting yourself into with a DIY type product.

The VCM Suite 2.0 interface was designed to be as user friendly as possible.

Download the help file and browse through it. It has quite a bit of information in it.. It's also very well organized so it should help your searches.
