ThunderRacing is like one of the first five 'net tuner shops. Let's not bash respected places like that.

I see I got a few responses that could be summed up as "It depends."

I know it depends but I believe in shooting for a #. I will shoot for 12.7-13.1 on the dyno.

Terry,No u were the one that brought up how much u make a yr. a while back on LS1.com REMEMBER?

I just love breaking your ***** about how STUPID/IMMATURE it was doing something like that, especially for a COLLEGE BOY..

And your comment about NEW tuners really makes u look foolish. How long has JULIO/CARTEK been building FI cars?

Who's car is wired by JULIO for the custon N20 setup on BOTH Popeye Cars...Pat Who??? Oh thats right Pat Musi..

And now your knocking Thunder Racing which IMO is one of the BEST Tuners out there now.Geoff's knowledge along w/Pauls upbeat personality makes them GREAT to deal with when it comes to the LT1/LS1.

Terry the more u talk about your 12.20 Vette the more stupid u look. Many people have laughed at that BUDGET S1 FLOP.Good luck w/your new setup as hope u go quicker than that..

Now back to the ORIG. Topic!!!
John this is the info I got on the DYNO
13.3 to 13.5 WHICH is LEAN made the most HP on the DYNO for MY N/A setup. This is great for showing NUMBERS according to testing..

But.....
Julio likes to set them richer under TRACK CONDITIONS.

Figure 12.6/13.0 A/F.

JS the car was quicker/faster than 80% of the other heads/cam cars on corvetteforum.com, and my heads/cam cost only 1/2 as much. You get what you pay for, and for the $1500 I was happy picking up 8-9mph in the car.

The new setup is making good power, 402rwhp
through an unlocked 3800rpm stall (without my EWP). I'm still sorting out the gears, tires, and weight. I will have some 11.2x times soon. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Thank you to those of you who actually KNOW something about our shop and have actually dealt with us in the past. Terry, I don't believe that you have ever purchased anything from us, so I don't think you have too much room to speak. We were one of the first companies on the internet dealing with parts for late model f-bodies. Our web page has been up and running since 1996. We not only sell parts, we perform research and development, we do installations and tuning. Those people who have purchased from us or have actually visited our shop know better than to believe your unintelligent comments.

At this f***ing rate, JS and Terry have bickered back and forth about stuff unimportant to anyone else here for a number of posts that is *greater* than the sum of posts in the Corvette section.

Therefor I suggest that we have a JS/Terry BS section added. That way it can be removed from the LS1 Engine section and we wont start sliding down the slippery slope to another www.LS1.com

CUT THE SH*T, you two. We dont mind if either of you contribute something to the conversation that is ON TOPIC and NON CONFRONTATIONAL. And we dont care how fast you can run since most of your mods, Terry are one-offs, and JS, we cant read what the #$%^ you write. But hey, Nothing Compares 2 U.

sorry for this temporary rant. Please drive through.

Chris

Now wait a minute.
I stuck up for 1 sponser which I happen to like and my friends at Cartek.

I didnt start ANY **** w/Terry.
He came in here and did his usual BS.

So DONT drag me into a post about JS VS TERRY
If he insults Geoff,Julio or Jay I will stick up for my friends EVERYTIME.

Sure I ribbed him alittle bit but u gotta admit
He really sez things that r inapropriate...

I did give my opinion and testing info to anyone cares to read it

Hey Angie, by getting into a shin kicking contest with a nonsponsor you are making Thunder Racing look bad. It's embarassing. Oh, and by the way I have bought flp headers, b1cam and a sh!tload of other stuff from you so I know you have a good shop.

Steve, Sometimes I just let my feelings get the best of me and let it go. I don't speak up too often like this on any board, and I have made Geoff delete more than a few posts over the past few years <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> I just get frustrated when the same people do the same thing over and over and over and over again. It gets old and we get fed up. I bust my butt for Thunder just like any other person who owns a business. A negative comment about Thunder Racing hits home and I felt I needed to speak up. I apologize if I came off the wrong way. Sponsors are human too <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
Thanks,
Angie

I reread my last post and I came off a little more harsh than I intended Angie so I want to apologize. Anyone in the know who has dealt with Thunder Racing knows that everyone there is extremely helpful especially yourself and Paul who I have had most of my dealings with. The nice thing about your shop is that someone is available when one has a question and they not only have the expertise to answer it but take all the time necessary to make you feel comfortable with that answer which is why I personally have made the majority of my purchases from your shop.

Have a nice Christmas <img src="graemlins/gr_xmas.gif" border="0" alt="[santa]" />
