Has anyone seen proven gains from programming on a 4xx rwhp NA 346 ci car?

Please let me know if you have seen objective power gains from tuning on a Heads/Cam stock cubes car. If you have please tell me if the car was *at* the tuners, or if you just sent away the computer. Any impressions from Autotap would help as well. Dyno's are the coolest <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Geoff picked up 13rwhp on Angie's Z28 tuning w/ LS1 Edit on the dyno. It took about 15 pulls to really get things sorted out. The car picked up a little over a mph at the track the next day. Typically, most heads/cam cars are picking up 5-10rwhp after tuning. This is really depending on the state of tune before they come in for a dyno session.

Chris,
I would agree that most posts I've read in the past tend to almost ALWAYS show some imporvement with computer tuning after a H/C change. If you do not want to spend the $400-$500 for a program a MAF Translator may help you get nearly the same gains for significantly less money. You would of course need ATAP and a Dyno to get the MAFT working properly with your setup to maximize the gains. Bigger Fuel injectors often also help a little when you start getting well over the 400 RWHP mark.
Let us know how you make out !
