Default Any way to convert from 98 pcm to 99+?

I have a 98 SS and was wondering how hard it is to convert the pcm connectors to a 99+ style?

How much did it cost, and were you able to retain everything like the fuel gauge, and temp gauge. Did you have to have dashes swapped?

^^^ from my understanding.. you won't need to swap gauge clusters with Speed Inc's conversion piece.... I will verify though
