My LS1 Edit trials:
#1
My LS1 Edit trials:
Added ARE stage II heads, T1 cam, FLP w/cats, SLP MAF
Car runs good on stock tuning
Used LS1 Edit to do the basics:
Gear ratio, Rev Limit, Fan on/off, CAGs disable, Remove O2 codes, Adjust Idle speed, Raise Torque Management etc
Atapped and found:
LTrims where in the +7-9% range the entire run
Timing was down to 25 degrees at some points so I adjusted to 30 based on MAF rate
Zero KR everywhere except 2 at ~4500 so I desensitized the Knock Sensors 25%.
O2s were in the .92-.93 range throughout the run.
Going to do some more atapping and lean the car out a little. Any tips on how you experts would do it? I love LS1 edit.

Re: My LS1 Edit trials:
how did you desensitize the knock sensors by 25% i dont understand that part of ls1edit. I would reduce timing around 4500 before desensitizing knock sensor. I assume you made sure it was false knock. Want you to run fast for a loooong time <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: My LS1 Edit trials:
Were your LTRIMS measured right after you downloaded the tune or did you drive it a while before that?
Also, did you see these values (+7-9%) on the WOT run? That would be strange. They should go to 0 at WOT. STRIMS should too.

I don't believe they just go to 0.

Re: My LS1 Edit trials:
I am sure it is false knock.
I made the Atap run at least 15 miles of driving after the last download.
Ltrims were in the +7-9% throughout the WOT run.
There was a thread about modifying one of the Knock tables by .75. Dont know if this worked yet but I will let you know.
Should the Ltrims be closer to zero??
