Its not the PO300 code, its the actual misfire detection parameters.

When MTI set up my PCM they told me removing PO300 would take care of it. Was this untrue? I know of some people who’ve had unlocking issues and PO300 removal has fixed it for them... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Its not just the cam. Almost any aftermarket Torque converter will cause this also. The aftermarket TC has less rotating weight and therfore less flywheel action. So even a car with a stock cam shaft can have this problem.

I think I have found the actual controls for the misfire test. I have been very sucessful in reducing the misfire count, while leaving the Misfire detection working. There are actually 7 different tables, they are in my latest beta, but I am still trying to figure out the scale on the RPM axis.
If you use LS1-Edit, and need the tables tuned, send me a description of where you are having this problem, and your LS1 file. I will loosen up the test parameters for you to try.

Im running the B1 cam presently.I never had any trouble with the stock cam and pullies but once I installed the cam and UD pullies the converter started acting up.

Set the Max temp to 142
set the Min temp to 141

These temps are Celceus (SP).
