Guys,
I ordered my WB system from FJO and I was wondering if anyone had any experience using this? What did you think if it?
Thanks,
Scott

I got the kit that had everything in it...the one with the nice display, the logging kit, the rpm input, the controller, the install kit, and the WB o2 sensor.
I'll let you know what it looks like when I get it...I ordered it from a dealer, Alamo Motorsports

I've got the full system installed permanently in my Vette. O2 sensor is welded into the header collector, dash mounted display, and a PC/PDA interface to support data collection during dyno runs, nitrous tuning, etc. which provides A/F ratio, Throttle Position, and RPM all on the same graph....

Thanks for the info <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
How has this worked for you for tuning? Do you feel that you have pickep up power from using it to tune?
Thanks,
Scott

Why would you need to run two sensors? Can't you just run one sensor in the Y-pipe? or does it have to be closer to the manifold?
I'm going to be installing this sucker tomorrow, so it would help ma a lot to know.
Thanks,
Scott

Well I would think the y-pipe would be to far back, but should work just response time will be slower. Also left and right banks will run slightly different afr, probably passenger side bank will be leaner compared to driver side. This is based on the stock fuel rails and dampener, etc. On my setup (low boost/power) I dought that the two banks will be that different.
You are running the Incon TT setup right? At this point I still dont have the y-pipe from Incon, supposed to get that shipped next week along with the rest of the stuff. It may work ok back in the y-pipe.
I also plan on having at least two egt sensors and later one for each cylinder, especially since the manifolds already are drilled for them. So the temperatures and the one wideband sensor should be good enough to tune with.

Gary,
My car is an Incon car, but the turbos are off for warranty repair right now, so I am going to practice tuning the car on the motor with the wideband.
I guess I will call some tuners and see where they recommend putting the sensor...I will also probably wire in a set of EGT's once I get a chance...but my main tuning will be with the WB!
I am pretty excited about getting it installed... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I'll try and take some pics of the install...I was thinking about making it removable so I can use it on a few different cars for tuning. I would definitely have it in my car for the track though!

With a true heated wide band sensor, location is not that critical.I like to install them about 12-18 iches from collector inlet from the primaries.Just depends on which location is best for you or which side of the motor you wish to monitor.

So it doesn't really matter which side?
So it would be better to put it in the junction of the Y-pipe so that I could get readings from both sides?

I have the FJO got it from Alamo also. I did not get a the display, just the rpm pickup, etc and the pc interface. I have not installed it yet, but its going to be installed in the glove box. I am looking at building a switcher so that I can run two sensors off one box. Then I would just use the aux 0-5 input to know which sensor it was reading. So the switcher box would output 1 volt when sensor 1 had power and 2 volts when sensor 2 had power. Not sure if really need this, just thinking about it though.
