Default Help - Need to Convert From MAFT Settings To LS1Edit

Guys:

I'm ready to take my maft out of the loop. My readings are currently set to 5% rich at cruise and 4% lean at WOT.

What is the best way (and what do I modify) to remove the maft and come close to my settings?

Thanks!

Mark

you can scale the maf table by 105% to get your cruise increase. For WOT fueling use the PE vs RPM - but a 4% decrease there (scale by 96 or so) will not be equivalent to a 4$ MAFT settings - I would start out at around 95% scaling on the PE vs RPM table and keep going fo there. Dyno with a wideband is the best bet.

You could of course do that - but the injector constant is something you can *know* - it's a fixed value which can be calculated easily. The MAF table, once you change your induction from stock, is off. A lid, air intake, removing the screen, etc. all effect the transfer function.

I just personally would alter the table that is no longer accurate - but it doesn't really matter in the long run - there are more than 1 way to do everything.

Ok, on my MAFT with SVO 30's I have my base set so I'm at -3 and WOT at .90 (but the latter is mute right now). With my LS1Edit should I adjust my MAF tables or SVO's first? Thanks.
