I was reprogramming with the hypertech when my friend decided to pull out the plug
Now the car will not fire, no power getting to the starter.
Everyone ever run into this?
Hypertech told me to F-off becuse i was not the origional owner "there not allowed to help me".
Using a "tech 2" we downloaded the information from my car there were no codes, and we tried to reinstall the operating system to the ECM.
The tech 2 was not able to upload to my ECM
ANY HELP APPREATED

My suggestions:
1) Find a new friend. <img border="0" alt="[fight]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_punch.gif" />
2) Buy another PCM and try uploading your program for it using the Tech II. you can get pcms pretty cheap from Valvegod. Just search for his name in classified.

I would call back down there and ask to speak to the highest chief and let someone have it. They should be able to help you regardless if you are not the original purchaser. It might cost you, but they can help.

It depends on how hypertech programs - if it reprograms the entire flash then you may be out of luck - friend. If it only updates segments like LS1 Edit, then it should be fixable.
Since you say a Tech II was unable to flash your PCM back to stock then I would guess it is toasted. Hypertech sounds like your best bet for a repair.

Hindsight is 20/20, but you must NEVER tell Hypertech that you're not the original owner. That's a standard policy on their part, and they've been doing it for a long time now.
I would have 'a friend' call them and he should be the original owner of the car and the HPP. Know what I mean? <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
They can fix it, they just try to make it as difficult as possible. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I can fix 94-97 LT1 PCMs, but not LS1's.

i just did the same thing and hypertech also told me they couldnt help me. the guy said that the first 50 percent is taking out the stock programming and the second 50 percent is the programming going in so im pretty much screwed because i was at around 85 percent.
