That makes sense to me. Has this been proven by some via wide band/dyno sesion that you know of?

Default Why LTFT -6 to -2 ?

Is there any type of performance gain in tuning the PCM to operate within this window?

If GM has tuned my PCM to operate at 0 LTFT's: I increase my engines VE with a Lid & filter; my LTFT's adjust themselves to ie: +4, what benifit would I gain from tuning with "Edit" to get my fuel trims a tic below Zero?

More consistant WOT fueling. If the LTRIMS go +, then it adds that much more fuel in at WOT. If they are negative, it doesn't influence WOT fueling.

I've heard and understand that as well. When you enter WOT, does it carry the current Ltrim value over into WOT (whatever it is and from whatever trim cell you're in?)
