Will HPP3 detonate with NOS??

Will HPP3 detonate with NOS?? Well im just waiting for my HPP3 to come in... but was wondering if it advance's the timing would that be a big risk running NOS? blow the motor more easly?

Re: Will HPP3 detonate with NOS?? from the reading i've done on this forum...higher timing and NOS don't go well together. your engine will be at a higher risk for detonation. Not safe at all.
NOS works better with lower timing.

Re: Will HPP3 detonate with NOS?? I have the same question, i have a Hpp3 and a granatelli maf... and im putting a 5177 kit on my car soon. I will be running N/A 98% of the time.. My question is.. Would it be ok to unprogram the HPP3 when using N20, and Put it back when im not using it... And is it ok to keep the GMAF on, without the HPP3, and running a 85 shot of N20.. Also.. i just put in TR55's.. i know TR6's are ideal.. but will my car work out ok with the TR55's and small shot (85 jets)?????
Re: Will HPP3 detonate with NOS?? Get the TR6's, you will not suffer to much NA. It will be a good safety measure when you do spray. The power tuning of the HPP3 does not mix with NOS, TNT, NX or any other "Nitrous" kits...

I know its safer to use TR6's, but would it be ok for a few passes on the TR55's? Im anxious.. hehe.. Like i said, im running a small shot.. only 85..
