Re: Top Speed? I think the cars that come with non Z-rated tires are about 105mph (not sure exactly), but my car was limited to 160mph as I discovered by reading the stock pcm file with LS1 Edit. My car originally came with Goodyear GSAs which are Z-rated.

Re: Top Speed? I was told by gm that the cut off was 137-138 mph. You can buy the programer to go around that. I just set mine to zr rated tires which is 255 mph. Wont be going there!!! It depends on the year of your car they where all set diffrent.

Re: Top Speed? A Z28 Camaro with Z rated tires will go about 160MPH than the computer will cut off the fuel.
I say "about" because it is not that accurate, you could hit fuel cutoff between 157 to 163.
Also, 99% of F-Bodys will go over 160 MPH Without a speed limiter.

Re: Top Speed? Well, i have a '98 without Z-rated rubber. I guess i could just find out if its limited on my own <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> . I don't have a programmer though so i can't change the max speed right now anyways
