Default Can you get the LS1 tuning done and still use a MAFT?

I was wondering this mainly because if the air allows I can gain a few more HPs on a cool dry night by leaning it out to .870s-.880s. I figured N2 guys might like this info also. Is anyone else doing this? I have to fatten it up for the hot Texas air and I am going to have to rely on an outside LS1 tuner to tweek it. TIA.

You can use a maft with any form of programming. Whether it's a good idea or not, I can't say. All it does is modify the maf freq so the pcm looks at 'higher flowing' cells in its maps.

Yes. Just be sure you figure out new settings that compliment the tuning.

A tune is a tune. The professional tune doen't act any ddifferent that the stock tune. The MAFT will still allow you to make the car richer or leaner as conditions change. If you Pro tune is good it should need little to no adjustment until conditions change

I like to tweek my car myself with the ATAP so is it common for people to get the other tuning changes (TM, O2 delete, idle set, shift points,TPS/MAF, Timing set, etc) and leave the O2s to be adjusted manually? Thanks for all the input so far.
