RICH OR LEAN or WHAT????
Car has 84,000 miles, STOCK motor, STOCK front o2 sensors, LT's, no cats, rear simulators that dont seem to work, and 3" custom dynomouth, i ported my maf (like a dumbass) i know, and i had changed the plugs and wires like 10,000 ago with stock type plugs..car has no egr, no air system on it, my question is why does my exhaust pop and crackle so much whnei get back on the gas sometimes? at times it just feels sluggish at high rpms 4000-up, mid range is ok but off the line and top end is nothing like how is was when it was kinda stock..STOCK it felt much better pulled harder..? obviously i have no tune but could my front o2 sensors on the headers be dead? i heard they have like a battery in them and with exhaust they tend to go bad faster????? what else should i check for?...
Although I'm not endorsing Kelley Chev. in any way, it's one of the few local places you can go to. Maybe you can work a deal with them that the money you pay now for 3 pulls can apply towards a full dyno tune in the future.
