Interesting O2Simm anomoly
All is perfect, except . . .
When the key is in the run position (and the motor is not started), the SES light is on (in Canada, we have a motor pic) . . . as soon as the motor is started, that light goes off. This wasn't the case before. Obviously, this is not the end of the world. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
Is this the way they all are? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
And while I'm on the subject, with our auto cars, a sadist must have designed the location of the left rear sensor - it's on top of the tranny, in front.
It took 3 beers to install it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
But before the O2Simms were installed, when I "programmed" the PCM with my HPP3, the key was in the run position, and the SES light was off. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
No big deal . . . the HPP3 still works.
Just wonderin' <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
<strong>It is supposed to be on, when you first turn the key foreward as sort of a test.</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif"><img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
It lets you know the light/circuit is still functioning.
