Has Anyone Successfully Tuned an Open-Loop Program?

That is a great idea! Have you or MMS tuned an open loop program before? You are right around the corner from me...literally (I am on White Oak and Saticoy).
Thanks,
Scott
I am wondering if anyone out there has successfully tuned an open loop setup that works relatively well.
With the switch to bigger (83 lb/hr.) injectors, it looks like I overestimated the stock computers ability to use them effectively.
I am looking for the method that you used to tune things (what tables, etc.) and how you got the car to stay in open loop.
Thanks,
Scott

Been tuning the car in open loop mode and it is not too bad! It still runs pretty rich at idle and part throttle, but I am slowly getting it there.
The car seems to have lost the hesitation it had when running in closed loop and all the little tuning is bringing back the power.
A dedicated WB is a blessing for this kind of tuning <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

This means there is no "fooling" of the PCM required and no trouble codes or side effects.
You can also turn fuel learn on/off for when you are tuning in closed loop mode and you don't want the ltrims interferring while you are tuning.
And you can set your ltrims back to zero whenever you want, without reseting the entire pcm or even turning off the engine.

But I have already invested in LS1Edit...so that is my tuning method of choice.
I just set the temp to enable open loop higher then the car will ever see to force open loop. No codes to deal with.
