DTC #0171 and 0174 both banks lean?

DTC #0171 and 0174 both banks lean? Recently my car throw two codes at me. My engine mods are:
Fast toys Ram Air
Lid
Flp Long Tubes
Mufflex Exhaust
Slp Maf
Do you feel that these mods are enough to throw my a lean code? Or should I look to a faulty O2, vaccum leak, check valve ect.
Also looking at ls1 edit, should I go with EFI Live V5, or auto tap. Also where is a good place to score a laptop cheap

Re: DTC #0171 and 0174 both banks lean? Better go With as much atap as you can afford first, otherwise your just stabbing in the dark so to say. I've got two good laptops for cheap on ebay, just make sure the seller has lots of good feedback before bidding. Then if your really going lean you can go for the maft and LS1edit. Just my thoughts...

Re: DTC #0171 and 0174 both banks lean? I have about the same mods as you and didn't pull those codes until I put the LS6 intake on.And I still haven't found my problem.I probally have so kind of intake leak.
Also check all hoses around the intake and your TB.
I was told you have to be running extremely lean to throw those codes so it has to be some type of vacum leak somewhere.I will say what was told to me and that is,what mods you have should not throw those codes.

Headers make you run way rich not lean and slp maf is calibrated and never seen codes mentioned with it..you have other problems there if you got those codes..like was said maybe a major vacuum leak..is your bellows on properly..other hose not plugged in..check all your sensors are plugged in also..its not your flps..did you put your o2 sensors in..are o2 harnesses ok..???

Re: DTC #0171 and 0174 both banks lean? I was running good for a while and then blam. I know that the Slp Maf make you run lean. As for the headers making you run rich though I'm not to sure about that, I've seen cars go both ways. I'm for sure going to get the autotap though.

Re: DTC #0171 and 0174 both banks lean? Put the stock MAF on. That should fix it. I had the same codes with a GMAF, and they went away and stayed away went I put the stock one back on.
Those codes indicate you are 25% lean, which is not good.
