Yeah, the top end is in the 460s-480 grams per second.

The highest we have taken it is 6900 but tenative we're shooting for 7500 if not 8000.

but i think if you turn some of the equations around you'd get an equation for fuel flow at given rpm, efficiency and airflow. rpm and airflow is measurable, ve we can get tuned in so that's a lookup. it should work, right? anybody?
Does this make sense?

since your dynamic airflow (assuming ve calibrated) or maf reading (assuming maf calibrated correctly) already takes into account engine efficiency at a given rpm it would make sense that you could take your airflow rate and divide by your a/f ratio to get fuel flow.

Thus...

50lbs/min of air (measured or calculated flow of what the engine is actually pumping thus taking into account ve)
12.5 a/f ratio

50lbs/min /12.5 = 4 lbs/min
4 lbs/min * 60 = 240 lbs/hr
240lbs/hr / 8 cylinders = 30lbs/hr injectors at 100% duty cycle

I guess my point is you only need airflow and a/f or rpm,ve,displacement (to calc airflow) and a/f to get desired fuel flow.

Thoughts?
