Default is a little misfire normal for ls1's

ok i got my new autotap tonite and started folin around learning it but i was watching all the cylinders and the misfireing, ive hasd some ping issues and i dunno if my plugs are shot now but i get misfires here and there at idle didnt look during driving at all tho, is this normal to have some misfires or should that bitch be runninperfect with none at all. im new to all this and learing more technical stuff so help me out here im learning lol

no, misfires are not normal in my experience. I'd pull the plugs and wires, but if you're also getting pinging, you might want to check the injectors. No fuel...no fire.

Plugs and wires can cause that, especially since your somewhat stock.

If you have a K&N filter and recently cleaned it, oil could have got on the MAF and cause you to have pinging/knock problems at WOT.

I "fixed" a few cars that had the oil on the MAF for bad gas mileage and knock on WOT.

well i just went thru the k&n thing the mafs clean and now i have a fram,
