Default P0327 Is pissing me off. Need Help.

OK, I'm about to get really really pissed off. I've replaced the front knock sensor and the wiring harness twice. I replaced the knock sensor seal. Well this morning driving to work. I trough the dam code again. What else would be causing this problem? I never had this problem until I had the PCM reflashed to reset the cam signal after my cam install. Could it be a computer problem?

I'm about ready to set the dam thing on fire.

Thanks for the help.

If you have one ks code it has to be a bad knock sensor. If you're throwing both codes, it's either the wire or the pcm. If it were me, I'd replace both of them and do the GM TSB where you make a dam around them with RTV, and remove the foam under the intake (water gets wicked by the foam and soaks the ks). If it was computer related, you'd be throwing both codes.

I just replaced everything on Tuesday. The harness, the knock sensors, the seals on the bottom of the valley cover.

More help needed.

Thanks

After you had replaced everything, have you washed the engine, or driven in the rain?

Regardless of what you've done, the computer is telling you that you have a bad knock sensor. The only other scenario might be that the wire isn't correctly attached to the ks. Throwing just one code is a bad ks--period, both codes is a bad wire, or a burnt pin on the pcm, or remotely, both ends of the wire not correctly attached to both knock sensors.

I haven't washed the motor. I did drive in the rain this morning, however I didn't hit any deep water. So I don't think that caused it.
What else can cause this? Timing being off, ground wires. Which I've checked. I've checked the two on the back of the driverside head. Could my ported maf be cauing the problem? Could edit be causing the problem?

I'm up for all sugestions.

You must not be reading my posts, dude: you have a BAD KNOCK SENSOR. You need to take off your intake, AGAIN, clean up any moisture under the there, replace the knock sensors (and wire too, probably, because it's hard to remove it without damaging it), do the complete GM technical service bulletin for the knock sensors as follows: lay a bead of red RTV around the rubber knock sensor boots leaving an opening in each dam (facing toward the back of the car), remove the square foam pads under the intake. And lastly, if you have an LS6 intake, take a palm sander and remove a little of the criss-crossed material under the intake (to allow a little extra clearance for the wire). The computer doesn't lie, and throwing ONE CODE (either P0327 or P0332) means that you have a BAD KNOCK SENSOR (or remotely, the wire isn't properly attached). If you were throwing both codes, then you would look elsewhere like the pcm (a burnt pin, or maybe part of your flash was accidentally deleted), or the wire. One code is a bad knock sensor. PERIOD.

Good luck, dude.

Over and out.

What's the odds of me buying two knock sensor and both of them being bad? Like I said I just put the dam thing in on Tuesday. As far as sanding the LS6 intake down. I dont see how that would help. The intake can only go down until it hits the bolts that hold the vally cover down right. So theres at least 1/4 of inche gap. It shouldn't be pinching the wireing harness.

I will try moving the knock sensor to the back to see if the code switches to the back.

Thanks for all the help Predator.
