Predator Worth the $$$$$ ??? Has anyone received this product yet and Installed on there car...Can you really feel difference in performance? <img border="0" alt="[Camaro]" title="" src="graemlins/camaro.gif" />

Re: Predator Worth the $$$$$ ??? The track runs "could" have been coincidence, you did get a better 60 on the 12.8 run. However you did pick up some mph which could = a few more hp.
If im going to spend 500 bones, ill just suck it up and get the ls1 edit or similar divice that lets you do everything. I dont want to mess around with paying AGAIN for a custom program and the going back and forth hassle. I rather just have everything I need at my control.
Now if you have no intentions of buying a laptop or dont have access to one, and you just need something more basic than ls1 edit, but better than a POS hpp, this sounds like the right tool. For the average joe-bob that doesnt want to mess with too much, but needs speedo adjustment, and some mild mild tuning for boltons, again this would be a good tool.

Re: Predator Worth the $$$$$ ??? I wanted to clear a few things up, I'm a avid drag racer. I race at the same track at least once a week. The times that I posted were actual not just a fluke, not to saying anyone doubted my times. I’m not saying I’m at the level of a lot of people on this board. That night the 12.83 was my best but my other two runs were with in a .03 of my best time. Just wanted to clear that up. As far as the LS1 edit goes the only reason I did not go that route is you also have to buy auto tap to be able to see if your tuning is doing any good/harm. So that brings the total close to $750 I only paid $425 shipped for my Diablo. I have also seen a few people really make a car run bad with LS1 Edit too many options. For the level my car is at it seamed like the best option for the money. BTW I sold my HPP3 for $150 so my cash out lay was only $275. No flames please

For $425 shipped I got a Predator that can program, read codes, clear codes, and monitor some engine parameters. I sold my HPP for $170. I ran a best of 12.23 @ 110.2 with the HPP. Pulled into the pits and dumped the HPP. Loaded the Predator with everything set the same as with the HPP. Then went out and ran a best of 12.15 @ 111.3. My 60 was better because of deleting the torque management and the MPH was up 1. That's solid gains in track times and programmer capability for the money. With much more potential down the road.
Now I will admit that if I planned on heads, cam, or forced induction I would have gotten LS1 edit.

Re: Predator Worth the $$$$$ ??? A best peak of 7 RWHP / 8 RWTQ and a best power band improvement of 10 RWHP/ 9 RWTQ. Very easy to use, has some good features, and you can get it for $425 shipped. Plus it's net upgradeable.
