Anyone have one, used one, or know anything them?
I am in desperat need of something to moniter, capture, and give me some tuning ability right now. HP Tuners is what I want, but out of my price range at the moment!
Does anyone know the pros and cons of this unit? Does anyone have one for sale?
I found a few on ebay:

Good price or not?

I am kinda leary of the way it's worded about tuning. It seems to not be a tuner, or have the ability to reflash the pcm. Can anyone confirm this one way or the other

unless they've recently changed something it's just a generic OBDII scanner... can't read GM Specific codes (such as KR)
Great unit for the money, but you can't really do much with it (no tuning of course, but can't even use it really well even with a tuning suite)

I actually built one of those myself out of boredom once.. It's based on the ELM chip, a DIY type project. It's good for the very basics, but I'd pass on it due to lack of GM specific PID's. Especially at that price.
