LS1 Edit tuning did on a 224/.581 disapointed?
Hey, from doing research on an A4 3.23 I decided to go with the 224/.581 114 cam. However,I have seen pretty good numbers on stock heads with the full exhaust, all bolt-ons, free mods, and Dyno tuning.I have all these mods. Well, this car only dynoed 350rwhp. I was told it was due to an LS1 Intake and 3" Super Turbo Dynomax. Futhermore, I had an Check Engine light that was on in my car. I was told that it was a transmission code and I would have to go to a transmission shop to have it removed. What do ya'll think. I truely believe that this shop uses the LS1 Edit for tuning there cars and it seemed to me that they should have been able to clear that code. Futhermore, anybody would think that a LS1 with a full exhaust system, 224/.581 cam, In house Dyno tuning, and every free mod would make over 350rwhp.Lastly, the car cut off several times at the red lights after it was warmed up.This is something to get my wife killed huh?? Do you think there was correct tuning??? <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" />

IMO, you need to solve the minor problems before messing with WOT tuning. Until you know why the car is dieing or what the tranny issue is, you don't know what mechanical issues could be holding back your WOT HP or if your A/F or timing are being adversely impacted by the source of your problems.
