it is a real bummer that in my hz range (98 computer) that my highest g/sec is 349.59 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
i almost feel like putting the stocker back in so i can meter back to 439.20 i'd really rather not have to rely on p.e. that early
they said for any tuning tweaks just to edit that on MAF just like you would the stock sensor(use the stock MAF table)

<strong> sure, thats the easy way to do it.. of course a factory meter does cost half as much and all you have to do is enter like 30 numbers into your edit file, then your done, but whichever way you want. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">easy=good <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> HAHHAHA

With the 2002 LS6 MAF your final table entry should be 359.16 gms/sec @ 11250 Hz.
Kinda looks like you either entered the table wrong or didn't save the changes when finished.

I do not yet have LS1Edit but I had gathered that the MAF table consists of a list of flow/frequency pairs and that both values of each pair could be altered. Mightymouse implies that the frequency values are fixed and that only the flow values can be edited; is this true?
Thanks, Gary
The 97-98 PCM MAF range:
1500 - 11250 Hz.
The 99-00 PCM MAF range:
1500 - 12000 Hz. (extended upper range)
The 01-02 PCM MAF range:
750 - 12000 Hz. (extended upper and LOWER range)
So I would think the 01 and newer PCM would be the best to use with the 85mm MAF sensor. Not only on the higher end, but also for idle sensitivity.
When I upgraded to the LS6 screened MAF (01), I simply plugged in the correct table, and everything worked perfect. Normal fuel trims, normal idle, great performance!

I've converted 3 or 4 of them here in the shop, and although it works great when finished, completely re-pinning those two connectors is not a small undertaking!!

<strong> Speartech, MM – thanks for the information. I can now confidently proceed with my plan to install an LS6 MAF sensor in my Z28. This forum is invaluable.
