and i bet it would suck if you got one or 2 vital pins wrong!
you use an ejector tool? that would make it go much faster.. hmm we got those at work.. hmm..
now if i can get ken to change my edit registration over to a new pcm.. for free.. i would be very tempted to do it.
whats the reasoning for your clients switching up the computers? same as above?
<strong> The problem with doing that is that the 97-98 PCM is unique and VERY different from the 99 and newer PCM's. The PCM pinout is completely different between the two series of PCM's.
I've converted 3 or 4 of them here in the shop, and although it works great when finished, completely re-pinning those two connectors is not a small undertaking!!

I wanted to change back to a screened MAF and thought that the '01 would be a better starting point but If I copy the corresponding MAF frequencies from an '01 table to my table, I end up at 349 g/s VS the 439 g/s - will that work or be counter productive in the long run?
