How to tune A/F ratio with Predator?
that the Predator "Power Enrichment" is -not-
a WOT-only ****. I put it back to 0% (from 2%)
and got some very fleeting, transient KR in the
fractional percent range at part throttle, but
still nothing on a WOT on-ramp run.
Went down to -1%, and got audible opening-throttle
knock and more extensive (sometimes near-
continuous) KR at part-throttle low speed
cruise / light acceleration. The knock is
still transient if you maintain throttle angle.
I think the closed-loop takes over and "fixes"
things in a second or two, is what's going on.
So I've gone up to +0.5% now (no run yet, but
it's higher than the pretty-much-clear 0%.
Just for a little "knock margin".
So I think this is kinda-good news, that you
do have some effect on the part-throttle A/F
settings via this parameter.

I think the "canned" tune changes the base
program to its liking. You have to go into
the Modify Performance>Power Enrichment
and then you can dick it around up to +/-5%.
After the Predator "Install Performance"
my cruising O2s are about 750-850mV and
WOT was 850-900mV. So I bumped fuel up
a little. I didn't look at what they
were, pre-Predator (an oversight, I
think, I would like to understand what-all
it changes).
I've got mine at max spark (+10%) and +2%
fuel, with no knock retard; I'm doing one
"poor man's dyno" Interstate run a day,
seeing where the onset of KR is, but haven't
found it yet. Going to lean back out to 0%
tonight. The car loves the extra advance
and it seems I have plenty of fuel adjust to
cover anything. But come summertime that tune
may change, 95 in the shade and 110 on the
asphalt.
