Making o2 simms
Thanks
Anyone?
Guess I have a little investigation for when it warms up.
Actually, looking at a few pictures of sponsors o2 sims, it looks like there is 4 wires. Hmmmm...

<strong> I don't know if that's a 12v source, or a ground wire, a pre-heat wire, or what. Obviosly one of them is the signal wire.

There are 4 wires on my sims....probubly a 12 volt, a ground, a pre-heat, and then the signal to the computer.

The O2 has 4 wires, 2 are for the heater circuit itself.
The other 2, 1 is the output of the 02 and the other is an isolated return ground for the logic to compare to so you could not just splice the S2 (rears) to the S1 fronts for it would cause different voltage levels.
Also the since the S2s are used to determine AFR on startup, by using front O2 voltage levels might cause incorrect injector pulse width setting.
Also keep in mind the O2 wires are special and have a airchannel between the wire and the insulation O2 needs to compare to outside air and if you were to just splice wires to the S1 O2s you would lose that air source.
Your better off turning off the DTCs that would get tripped by PCM not seeing the S2 O2s via LS1edit

<strong> I posted that as more of a question than a statement. My understanding of the o2 signal is that it is between 0 and 1volt. That's the full range of the o2 sensor. If that's true, I don't see why you couldn't just split that signal and send the same x.x volts to the PCM for both front and rear sensors.
