MAFT & GM's hotcam
I don't have them yet, ls1motorsports says the MAFT is needed when upgrading the cam in your car. Is this true!?? Couldn't find any threads on the search menu...
Thanks in advance!!

Re: MAFT & GM's hotcam
After installing my hotcam I did end up making some MAFT adjustments. So, while a MAFT is not required, it (or LS1Edit) and some diagnostic software like Autotap are a good thing to have.
EDIT: noticed you also list LTs as a future upgrade. You'll want at least a MAFT with those as well.

Re: MAFT & GM's hotcam
I have the hotcam and other things listed in sig. I had maf ends and used edit to adjust for them. If you don't know exactly what your doing then you can actually decrease the horspower made. The frequencie's are crucial and i ended up just putting the old ends back on. I run hypertech advance with the cam and stock maf(without screen) with no detonation of any kind.

its not needed if you have a custom program done.. however its nice to have to help make air fuel changes <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
