TB mod ....
Grind the stop except for the outermost
1/8", to a relief depth of about the same.
The grind-out should go inboard until you
clear the lever tang contact region.
You will then have a single small bump at
the very end that sets the max opening.
Easier to deal with than delicately grinding
a larger area on every cut-and-try increment.
Now carefully file / grind that stop bump
until your blade is just shy of dead center
in the TB inlet port, when up against the
stop. Use a ruler, stop filing when you are
maybe 1/16" short of dead center. Looking
dead-on down the throat the blade should
look like it's "inside" the shaft.
This gets you to mechanical ideal opening
on the TB itself.
When you're done cleaning, reassemble and
check the TPS voltage like the other install
/ howtos say. If the TPS voltage is "over the
top" then adjust the TPS position. It shouldn't
be. But you really want the TB set up properly
for mechanical airflow, and if the TPS needs
to be rejustified, do that - don't stop short
just because the TPS is wrong.
