P0102. Wtf????????
P0102. Wtf???????? I keep getting this p0102 code and my truck is running like ***. If i try to floor it, it boggs our and bucks etc, etc, etc. what the **** is going on? i did just have some audio work done and the guy spend a bunch of time under the hood etc cleaning up my bad wiring jobs. where should i look? what should i log? HELPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!

i then set the maf freq to 0, maf table to 0, and p0101-03 all to 2 and ses enable to off. (speed density). no more bogging/bucking.

Has your MAF table been messed with at all? Does it do it at the same point all of the time (rpm or MAF frequency), or is it random? Might be wiring or a ground. Don't know where to tell you to start looking though - don't know the trucks so well. Start at the sensor and trace the wires looking for any burnt or rubbed, then find out about the ground connections and clean/tighten them.

Verdad Gallardo do you suppose i need to just recharge my filter?????????? it's a cone filter and i think the audio dude may have cleaned my engine compartment. maybe he washed all the oil off the filter????? i'm totally guessing here
Im going to guess if he washed the engine off he used high pressure and got water somewhere it shouldnt be. It should go away once you take a nice long drive and heat everything up.....if thats the case. Or maybe he actually damaged a sensor wire or ground wire.
i don't know. im at a loss. when in sd mode, it runs like a champ. otherwise, it runs great till i give it too much gas. then the maf goes ******* crazy. makes no sense to me.

it runs great in SD other than my 1-2 shift is harder for some reason. I still use the stock 1 bar map sensor. My wideband sensor has been malfunctioning lately (light blinks 8 times). I tried doing the heater calibration but it made no difference.

It just seems far to coincidental that this all started AFTER i had all that audio/wiring work done. There must be a blown fuse or bad ground somewhere.

Maybe you should try out another MAP sensor? Or at least
put a meter to it and see if you have 4.5V key on, engine off
and some lesser value at idle or other high vacuum.

Perhaps once the voltage reaches a certiain point in the MAF wiring it's shorting to something ? Have you looked closely at/tried jumping the wires ? Just a guess... It's clearly not the physical MAF since you swapped it, could be the wiring ?

it was suggested to me that i could have a vacuum leak. where do i even begin to look? the filter, maf, tb, and tube are all secure. are ther vacuum hoses i need to be looking for?

Check the intake O-ring gaskets. Your story sounds exactly like mine and I checked everything with no answers. It turned out to be a crimped O-ring gasket in the intake manifold. My car also ran fine for a year or so and then I would get the bucking under acceleration, almost like hitting the rev limiter but it would happen out of no where.

i would start looking at the wires where the audio guy was "cleaning" up, he may have jacked it up somewhere. Also if you are cleaning the maf, I always use electrical connector cleaner. You can get it at most auto parts stores.
