this may not be a new idea but here it is.

atap has an alarm feature that you can set for anything that is monitors, i took one of those cassete adapters from my lap top(headphone jack) to my truck and cranked up the stero so now i can have an alarm that is crazy loud.

i set the KR to give me an alarm if i go ever 2deg, set the tranny temp to set an alarm if i go ever 180deg, set the engine coolant to set an alarm if i go over 200. not sure what else to watch, i would like to watch the 02's alarm to .85 or so but when it isn't at wot they are everywhere.

seems like it might help save your motor when your out testing/pushing it to the limit. i log everything but am not able to look at what is going on till the end of the run but now i can hear the KR alarm go off and let off prety quickly.

im just to lazy to set it.. its hard enough to get me to even atap my car half the time <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

but im with ya on not being able to look at atap while at WOT, so it is a good idea <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
