Default Anyone running FAST or DFI 7.0?

Anyone running the piggy back or stand along FAST or DFI gen 7?

I know that ScottWS6 is running FAST along with Roy Raymer.... Anyone else?

Anyone know anything about DFI 7.0? Who makes it, John Meany?

they are still working on the gen 7 units for the LS1,dave at cartek said they are making a box comparable to the e-dist module.

the gen7 seems to be a nicer unit from what I have heard also.

but once cartek gets the crank/cam trigger plugnplay unit for the FAST in production(only a few weeks away!!!)I will buy one of their's

We are running the FAST system on all our cars. On Pains we are using the EDIST box along with a custom crank trigger system.

John Meaney no longer works for FAST or ACCEL. He is supposedly starting a new company with some new software. In the preproduction SPY info I have gotten Johns new stuff is going to blow everybody else away.

Scott and Rob are both using the Cartek crank signal adaptor box. Otherwise you would need to install a crank trigger to make it work, the FAST cannot directly use the LS1 signal it's (not sure how to word this) not the same speed/ or type.

Is Gen7 out and does it require an EDist box AND an adaptor for the crank signal?

Chris,

How do you handle the ignition system when you use the Gen VI DFI system? I am assuming that you run it in sequential mode, and if thats correct, how do you handle the cam position signal.

Thanks,
Andrew

DFI is currently working on a plug and play system for the LS1 platform. Whenever that becomes avalible...we will be testing it on my turbo car. I'll let everyone know how it works out!

just got done with EMIC training this weekend, and i was told that they had no plans of making a ls1 kit for gen 7. i think there is a way to make it work with edis coils, but since i havent done it, i dont know what is involved in it.

i really want to put one on my car, but not sure if i want the hassles with making the edis work on a ls1.

if there is someone that has made it work, please drop me an email and let me know what is involved....gen 7 is really a trick piece!
