Default LS6 MAF table

Anyone have it? Anyone have a write-up on a MAF calibration using hptuners?

I'm not 100% familiar with HPT's terminology, but the basic idea is to create a histogram, map, that mimics your MAF table. You then log the AFR error as your data parameter. Then use the AFR error to correct the MAF calibration.

The process is very similar to dialing in the VE table with the AFR error

if you have an actual LS6 MAF (compared to the SLP one where they add a resistor to trick the output)

I beleive you can use either the LS6 or the truck MAF tables (jimmyblue's posted about this before, he'll have a better idea which to use)

I prefer the truck table as it indicates slightly more air,
making for a rich bias (but it comes out dead-nuts on
my F-body with descreened truck MAF). There are some
differences even between the trucks as well as the cars
that use the 85mm. I believe this is GM "fudging things"
for intake tract geometry /airflow bias effects.

Some of the MAF tables have kind of silly values, or none,
in the low range. Depending on your vehicle this could
screw up trims etc. (my A4 never gets below 2kHz but a
M6 with light accessory load, might). So this is another
criterion for selecting tables, simple "sanity".

This one is my fave:

freq Hz 750 800 850 900 950 1000 1050 1100 1150 1200 1250 1300 1350 1400 1450 1500 1625 1750 1875 2000 2125 2250 2375 2500 2625 2750 2875 3000 3125 3250 3375 3500 3625 3750 3875 4000 4125 4250 4375 4500 4625 4750 4875 5000 5125 5250 5375 5500 5625 5750 5875 6000 6125 6250 6375 6500 6625 6750 6875 7000 7125 7250 7375 7500 7625 7750 7875 8000 8125 8250 8375 8500 8625 8750 8875 9000 9125 9250 9375 9500 9625 9750 9875 10000 10125 10250 10375 10500 10625 10750 10875 11000 11125 11250 11375 11500 11625 11750 11875 12000

I think you could find writeups on tuning the MAF table
but you really have to question why you're messing with
a factory trimmed air meter in the first place. There are
reasons but just feeling itchy isn't one of them.
