Traction Control and The Dyno I asked this question on the Corvette Form and got zero response. I am trying to tune a new 03 Z06 with LS1-Edit and an EASE scanner and a Chassis Dynojet 248 dyno. I understand that the PCM will pull timing if it thinks it detects wheelhop, even with the Traction Control and Active Handling turned off manually. Sure enough, from 3500rpm up the timing drops off (up to 8 degrees) on the dyno. On the street with the scanner hooked up it goes right to 28 where I have it set with no problems. Anyone know of a way to completely disable this? I have access to a Tech II also.

Re: Traction Control and The Dyno I believe it has to do with the front and rear wheels not being in sync. I will do some checking into that fuse area; sounds like it could help with finding the problem. I also wondered about that KR, but I don't know why it doesn't show up when street testing with a scanner.

Re: Traction Control and The Dyno I believe there is a fuse for the traction control system at least I remember seeing one in the fuse box. If you are seeing knock then its not the traction control pulling the timing.
