My ABS/INOP and E-Brake Lights won't go off
Help, My ABS/INOP and e-brake lights are staying on.
I left work today and noticed that my abs/inop and e-brake light are staying on for some reason. I went through some wet roads today and hydroplaned a little but that wouldn't set it off, would it? I turned off the car and the e-brake light went off but came back on when I started to move. If anyone knows what to do to get these idiot lights off please chime in. The brakes do feel a little funny but the work fine.
Thanks,
Matt

i know when your wheels spin for some time
the pcm detecs a bad road condition
and turns your abs off and your abs inop light comes on, i dont know about your brake light.
if you have air in your lines,or your fluid is
low your abs goes off and your abs,and brake light comes on,you mite check to see if that is doing that.
hope this helps <img border="0" alt="[USA]" title="" src="graemlins/patriot.gif" />
your ported T/B,is it a 80mm.
and how much of a gain did you get from it?
how do you like that pace maf,is it worth it too?
thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Best bet it to get the car scanned - hardly anything makes it to the MIL's without setting a code.
You may have gotten some water in your wheel bearing/hub and adversely affected the wheel speed sensor - that could explain the ABS inop light. E-brake... I'm not sure.

the lights that are on in your car are both relates to each other, you need to sheck the ebtcm fuse and if thats not it, its moer than lickly the module at fault, those are a common problem on these cars.

Right after I dynoed my car, my ABS INOP light came on. It went off after about ten minutes though...before I could get out ATAP <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Just my .02. This happened to me. I dynoed. Turned out, the idiot who hooked up my car hooked up too close to ABS Sensor. What happened was, there is this plastic piece that plugs into some kind of wiring harness. That plastic piece has sensor wires which go into it. The sensor wires pulled out a little so that they weren't all the way out, just enough to lose contact with the post they were supposed to connect to, if this makes any sense. Might wanna try that. E-mail me. Michaelozorowsky@hotmail.com if u have any questions. I'll do my best to help.
