I have a 98 A4 T/A with a stock converter adn 2.73 gears. My question is when the try to leave on the car from a dead stop if it breaks the tires loose and starts to spin it will almost immediately shift into second and the car of course noses over. It almost seems like the MPH requirement for the shift is being made because of tire spin but the car is actually not going anywhere.

Any help is appreciated.

Paul, there maybe a few that will chime in but you're really not going to get much help with LS1edit. Most everyone on here uses HPtuners or something else. I had the same problem with my car LT99ls1 seemed to have fixed it but I can't remember what he did to fix. You may have read this before but do a search for A4 tuning. Also look at the stickies above for additional tuning help. Sorry I'm not much help but but ask Larry for my edit file, maybe you can look at it for some help.

Thanks man. Every since Streetcar Forums has been down I haven't been able to speak with Larry. I logged a file a week ago and emailed it to him but I haven't heard back. I'd be willing to take the car to him and pay him to tune it the first go around. It's begining to drive me nuts.

My car still needs lots of tuning so I can enjoy driving it again. That's why I bought HPtuners because I couldn't do anything with LS1edit. I'm trying to learn as much as I can with HPtuners so I can do most of the tuning myself.
