Question MAF calibration differences I've noticed....

My Z06 was orginally tuned a few years ago using edit for the cam only setup. I have now installed a set of PRC ported Ls6 heads. I LOVE EFILIVE so far I obtained a stock Z06 .bin file from Horists site and used the compare feature to see what had actually been changed on my car. Im a newbie, but Im under the impression that the Maf table should not be changed since the MAF sensor is stock, below are the differences Ive found. The car appears to be running on the rich side. Should I copy the table back to the stock settings? Any comments appreciated. The PE modifier based on RPM appears stock on my car.... Let the village idiot questions begin!

Here is my recent dyno with the new heads. As you can see it appears I have a few issues. I have an Lc1 which I plan to hook up in the stock O2 location this week...

The MAF table will need to be recalibrated after you get the VE table dialed in. More then likely they just adjusted the MAF table only to compensate for the fueling as well as possibly the IFR table.

Here is the IFR table, it has been adjusted also. The car has 30lb SVO injectors. Thanks Chad. Let me know what you think. Is this correct for the SVO 30's?

Looks to me like the IFR is set unrealistically high (for
a lean result) and the MAF is also raised up (for a rich
result; perhaps to compensate IFR - or vice versa).

The Z06, descreened MAF, can be perturbed some by
the intake tract hardware but I'd step back to (1) a
believed-proper IFR table, based on what you know
about delivered fuel pressure as sqrt([FP+vac]/40)*30lb/hr
and try putting the MAF table to whatever matches the
MAF hardware you've got (descreened Z06, screened truck,
whatever this 2001 has going).

Yesterday's high fashion is today's fashion mistake....

Question

Ok this is what I come up with for the IFR using red supras calc for 30/lb SVO injectors @ 40psi converted to our 58psi.... ??? I think this looks much closer...

Enter your values here:

Your Fuel Rail Pressure: 58 psi
Injector Rated Flow Rate 30 lb/hr

Thanks Jimmy, thats exactly what Im going to try. Im going to go back with a stock 2001 Z06 MAF cal, and enter these correct IFR values and see what happens.

Thanks. I'll really be set when I get the LC-1 installed. I know the car is running rich now though my narrowbands are reading .950's to .980's at WOT.
