check engine light is flashing

all of a sudden my check engine light started flashing and remains on. the car runs like it is missing or getting to much fuel and running real rich. i tried resetting the computer and it works for maybe 5 mins then the car starts doing the same thing. oddly at wide open throttle the car seems to pull harder now WTF? any suggestions?

We're taking the Z to the shop tomorrow. We detected a mis-fire and some odd little stuff. Same little things you reported. I'll give an update.

yes the wires are seated for some reason i think it's one of the o2's going bad. i just need to get it scanned i will be stopping by autozone in the morning to get it scanned for free. thanks guys

It is a misfire. O2 won't flash the light, and your car will go into loop mode if they are bad. the way I found my misfire was at night, I lifted the hood and there was an electrical storm of current going from the wires to the headers. I bought new wires and wrapped both the headers and the wires. I suggest looking at night or in total darkness. if you have headers you might have lightly melted a wire enough to arch.
