Default PO103 MAF Circuit high input?

what exactly does this mean, MAF circuit high input, does this mean I have a bad MAF? Is it a poss. that this was a malfunction and it will go away and not come back after I clear the code?

This code came twice a couple weeks ago and I cleared and it has not come back since. However, there still seems to be occational hesitation off idle to 1800rpms. Would the MAF be causing this? Should I get a new MAF?
