good A/F ratio target for big hit of spray???
You guys that have standalone engine management systems and wideband o2 capability (BS3, DFI, or FAST XFI) what are you shooting for A/F ratio wise when on spray....
I'm looking for what is a good target for power and a bit of safety when running roughly a 300 shot...
NA I found the best power at 12.9 at the torque peak and then leaned it out to 13.1:1 at the hp peak....
I was thinking of doing the same with n20 only fattening it up to around 12.5:1 area... or should i fatten it more?????

you pretty much treat nitrous the same way you treat any forced induction, 11.5 AFR is good target to shoot for, and watch your timing a 300 hit I would pull atleast 12 out of your NA tune and start from there.
Only a 300 hit? come on man 400! I thought you wanted those 8s? oh run some good gas too c16 is nice there is ERC down by me that has some 118, if you cant find a VP dealer. dont forget to look in to plugs too, want to lower that heat range a bit.

the more you spray... the richer you wanna go.... both for safety and performance
Also the more you spray the less timing you want....
300 shot I would start at 11.2:1 and then go leaner ... you can always remove fuel.... but if you HAVE to add it it's prolly too late heh ....
(think of it this way... when you spray.. you're adding 40% more oxygen to the charge.... ~20% to ~33% ...)
