Default Oil Change light

I changed my oil about 500 miles ago. Last week the oil change light came on and it comes on for a few minutes every time I start the car. Is there something I need to reset to keep this light from coming on when I change the oil?

Yeah, put the key in the run position and then hold in the odometer reset button. It takes a good 10 seconds or so, but you'll see the oil change light flash a few times once it's reset.

If that dont work, When you turn on the ignition, quickly stomp the gas pedal 3 times. It is either one way or the other.

I've always used the hold the button down method... if neither worked... find your users manual... it explains how to reset the oil change light in the users manual
