I was thinking of getting a Innovate Motorsports LC-1 + XD-16 but after reading all the problems there having ,i just don't know now. I want a gauge type to put in my piller with the other two gauges i have ,Is there a wideband out there with a guage for around the same price range, with out all the problems.

Mine lost its analog outputs last week. Worked fine for about 6 months. It's on its way back to Innovate for repair. Installed a PLX SM-AFR controller and DM5-AFR gauge. The LC1 will lay around the garage as a backup.

I spoke to soon above. Mine just went dead. I hope it is just a sensor.

Exactly bro...I recommend it to eveyone...Well worth the time...BTW I just installed mine in yesterday and it's acting awesome...I think a lot of it is just simple wiring it in correctly and performing the proper test...

I mounted the controller in the center console. No problems yet about 6 months now.

Little update FWIW I had two of these in the car (with an XD1) two years now, sold one about 6mos ago when I put the BS3 and even after running leaded fuel 100% for the last 4 months its still working fine as well as the other one I sold. Still on the original sensor and its very close to what the BS3 wideband shows.

They were one of the first batches to come out from innovate.

I just lost the analog outputs on mine. Both outputs and the signal groung wires all read a constant 0.92 volts. This is not the lc-1's fault though, I had a gauge feed voltage back into my analog one output wire. If I hook up the computer with innovate's logworks software, the wideband is still working. Unfortunately, I need the analog outputs.

My analog outs never worked on my first one. I sent it in no questions asked(which was good). A month later(which was bad) I get a brand new unit which analogs don't work on it(which is bad). I never called them about it. Just pretty much discusted. I tried all the different grounding tricks that I could find/think of. I've considered buying a LM1 since people have good luck with them but have decided to not give Innovate any more of my money, I went with a competitor's.

I know how you feel. When I think about it, it's the worst product I have ever purchased. $200 dollars and it never worked right. I'm buying a different brand myself. I guess I can keep the sensor for a spare. I am not wasting anymore time on Innovate.

i have had one on my truck for about 9 months now. it worked great for the first seven but now it overheats just a few seconds after i floor it most of the time, at part throttle and cruise its fine. its only a foot or so from a big turbo, i did make an aluminum heat sink for it. i assume its overheating, the dynotune gauge reads 00.00. it has also froze on 49.9 2 or 3 times, wont go off unless i restart. and the LED isnt giving error codes at all when this stuff happens.

i have a new sensor on the way and i'm relocating it further down the exhaust tract. i also have the unit mounted to the firewall in the engine bay, could the engine bay heat be getting to it? is it supposed to be inside or something??

Mine has not worked from the beginning.

It reads 10.0 at WOT no matter what I do with the PE tables; and yes, the stock sensors show the changes when my PE tables are changed.

At part-throttle and idle it will spike and remain at 20.xx and dip, on occaision, down to 13

Is there ANY fix for this thing?

It appears the point may be moot from the poll results and browsing a few of the responses in this thread

The fact that the AFR moves is a good sign. Read the AFR via the serial connection using Logworks. If it reads fine there then you have an analog output problem. If Logworks doesn't read correct, check to make sure you have Gas selected in the LC-1 setup.

Do you mean log the AFR with Logworks?

I have Gas 14.7 selected on the initial set-up/programming.

I can't believe all the problems this particular wideband has yet it is still sold/recommended on this board.
